Larry Page and Sergey Brin

Lawrence Edward "Larry" Page, was born in Lansing, Michigan, March 26, 1973. Page is a graduate of East Lansing High School. Page earned title "Bachelor of Science" in computer engineering from the University of Michigan graduate with honors and a Masters from Stanford University. When being a student in the Ph.D. program computer science at Stanford University, Page met Sergey Brin.

Sergey Mikhailovich Brin, Russian: Сергей Михайлович Брин. born in Moscow, Soviet Union, August 21, 1973. when He was 6 years old, his family moved to the United States. There, He registered in primary school Montossori Paint Branch, Adelphi, Maryland. In September 1990, after graduating from Eleanor Roosevelt High School, he received at the University of Maryland, College Park. There he majored in computer science and mathematics, and obtained a tittle "Bachelor of Science" in 1993. He then went on his computer science education at Stanford University through a scholarship from the National Science Foundation. He received his master's degree in August 1995. At Stanford he met Larry Page.

Beginning in January 1996. A research conducted by Larry Page and worked with Sergey Brin . They concluded that the search engine that analyzed the relationship between website produces better ranking results than the search engines with the existing methods at that time.
Eventually they both make a search engine with the name "BackRub" because it has a system to check backlinks to estimate the level of importance a site was. At that time, a small search engine called Rankdex also doing the same investigation. 

Based on the logic that the page with many links, associated with those pages are important and relevant pages, then Larry Page and Sergey Brin tested their thesis and make a research for their search engine. Finally, they used search engines made by Stanford University in google.stanford.edu. And the domain google.com was registered on 15 September 1997 and became company Google Inc. 


On 4 September 1998, Google is at that time was still based at the garage owned by a friend of Larry Page and Sergey Grin has reached to $ 1.1 million investment. Google's office in March 1999 moved to Palo Alto. Since that time, google continues to grow and continue to receive many visits to search engines because of its simple design and good search results.
